Kasey Sokol,

Kasey received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of The Cumberlands. Kasey utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities to assist individuals with re-processing traumatic experiences, unlearning problem behaviors or harmful ways of thinking, and improving the quality of their relationships by exploring toxic themes and deficits within them. She primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as art and play interventions within her practice. Kasey is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR Therapy), and she is actively pursuing her certification in EMDR Therapy.

Kasey believes in the importance of a person’s story and meeting each person where they are in the present moment. Kasey works with children aged 5+, adolescents, adults, as well as couples, and families. Kasey is an LGBTQ+ affirming, sex – positive, kink aware therapist.
