Danielle received her master’s degree in 2019 before beginning her counseling career in Virginia Beach City Public Schools. She gained experience working with grades K-12 before transitioning to the Kempsville Center for Behavioral Health. Danielle began working full-time in private practice in October 2025 and has truly enjoyed the opportunity to dedicate more time and attention to supporting her clients.

Danielle values a collaborative approach to therapy, working alongside her clients to support meaningful, lasting change from within. She recognizes that each person brings their own unique experiences, strengths, and needs to therapy and strives to create a space where clients feel understood, respected, and supported as they work toward their goals.

Danielle draws from cognitive and dialectical behavior therapy (CBT and DBT) interventions to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical skills for navigating distress and challenging moments.

She also incorporates trauma-informed and Internal Family Systems (IFS) approaches to help clients deepen their self-understanding, build on their strengths, and develop more effective ways of moving forward with greater confidence, self-compassion, and dignity.
