Nicholas Bio

Nicholas enjoys working with clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, PTSD, substance abuse, codependency, and difficult life transitions. He provides a warm and inviting presence, enabling clients to feel comfortable sharing their life stories, experiences, and obstacles that have made it difficult to achieve their goals or to move on from painful memories. He assists clients in identifying the root causes of their distress and finding ways to manage difficult emotions.

Nicholas has 15 years of experience providing mental health treatment in both inpatient and outpatient settings. His inpatient work focused on helping clients achieve mental health stabilization, while his outpatient experience has centered on supporting clients in maintaining long-term stability and continued growth. He enjoys working with adults from diverse backgrounds and is committed to providing compassionate, individualized care.

Nicholas believes a good therapeutic relationship and connection with clients is what matters most and enables them to feel comfortable in discussing their concerns and finding solutions to what might be holding them back from making meaningful life changes.

A client can expect to feel comfortable in sharing their stories and concerns. Psychoeducation regarding their symptoms will be reviewed, coping skills to manage those symptoms will be taught, and ways to manage distressing thoughts will be discussed. He primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, and Strengths Based Therapy.
